Quality Construction
Construction standards in Morocco are comparable to those in European countries and The Norton Group uses only reputable contractors. All properties come with a 10 year structural warranty.
- Great investment potential
Moroccan property offers significant growth potential with appreciation between 20 and 40% per annum on coastal developments. Rental can yield around 6% per annum - and these figures are set to increase, year-on-year.
- Taxation
With all impediments to foreign land removed, the Moroccan Government is tempting investors with very favourable tax laws. Owners are exempt from property tax for the first five years, and exempt from tax on rental income for the first three years.
Capital gains tax is payable on a sliding scale: 0% if you sell after 10 years, 10% if you sell within 5-10 years, and 20% if you sell within the first 5 years. There is no inheritance tax if the property is passed on to a family member. Proceeds of property sales can be fully repatriated.
